Stir-fried rice is a quick and tasty lunch for us. You can add almost any kind of vegetables from your fridge and a little protein. We had leftover roast pork today, so I made stir-fried rice with pork and onions. This time, I used the cooked pork. If you only have fresh meat, you need to cook the meat before you add the rice to the wok.

How to Cook Stir-fried Rice with Pork and Onion
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok, add chopped garlic, ginger, and then add chopped onions.
- Add the cooked rice, salt, black pepper, cook on a medium-high heat, occasionally stirring.
- When the rice starts getting crispy, add the pork on them, occasionally stirring.
- Pour the soy sauce, letting it slide down the sidewall of the wok, so that you can add a burnt soy sauce flavour.
- Turn off the heat, sprinkle the spring onion or chives and serve.
