You want to eat bread for breakfast, but you don’t have any bread and you don’t have enough time to raise the bread dough. What would you do?
Don’t worry. You can make a quick bread without yeast. I baked a quick bread with all purpose flour and yoghurt without yeast. The actual baking time was 15-25 minutes (it depends on your oven) and it worked perfectly for us this morning.
Ingredients for Quick Bread with All Purpose Flour and Yoghurt:
- All Purpose Flour: 180g
- Yoghurt: 180-200g
- Baking Powder: 2 teaspoons
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
- Salt: a pinch
How to make Quick Bread with All Purpose Flour and Yoghurt:
- Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl
- Pour yoghurt and mix well with a spatula
- Spread thinly on baking paper which is placed on an oven tray and bake for about 15-25 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
You may remember that our big oven is broken. It is still broken, so I used the little “oven toaster.” It’s not as powerful as a normal oven, but it works well enough for baking small bread.
