Super Easy! Radish leaves pickled in salted kelp

We harvested some radishes from our vegetable garden.

Red radishes are crispy and delicious and can just be added to salad, or you can also make pickles from the radish leaves. So do not throw them away!

I used salted kelp. It’s quick and easy to make and tastes great!

Ingredients for Radish Leaves Pickles

  • Radish leaves (or white radish leaves or Chinese cabbage)
  • Salted Kelp (Kombu)
  • Dried Red Chilli
Salted Kelp (Kombu)

How to Make Radish Leaves Pickles

  1. Wash the radish leaves and drain well.
  2. Add the salted kelp to the radish leaves and mix well.
  3. Place them in a sealed bag with the dried red chilli and rest it in the fridge for a few hours.

You can add “needle” slices of ginger.

If it doesn’t taste enough, add soy sauce or salt.

I chopped it up and added it to my rice porridge.
